The sky is falling, the sky is falling

Okay, okay, the sky is not falling (excuse the Chicken Little reference). The leaves, however, are FALLing (get it? Okay, I know, that was cheesy). 

It is still technically Summer for about another week. It still, mostly, feels like summer with this 95 degree heat we have going on. 

I managed to get a few days of no AC, open windows, and fresh air flowing in last week. There is something to be said about fresh air coming into the house. It is rejuvenating. 

I know I have posted before about Fall and our Fall Bucket List, but I really am excited for Fall weather! Seeing the change (leaves falling) is getting me even more excited! 

Though, I have heard that they are expecting Fall to be warmer than usual. Hopefully, still cool enough (60-75 degrees Fahrenheit would be nice) that we can open the windows for more than 2 days.

We took our pool down (boy was that a chore) and mostly got the yards cleaned up. We did decorate our front yard for Fall. You can check that out here if you would like. 

Why do I love Fall weather so much? Great question, let me answer that for you 😁.

1. I get hot easily. Anything over 72 degrees makes me sweaty. I loathe sweating  (unless working out) so the cooler weather is ideal for me. 

2. Because the weather is cooler, I can enjoy being outside more. I love going outside. I love experiencing nature. That is much more enjoyable, when it is not so dang hot outside.

3. Fall fashion. I tend to wear a lot of black and black doesn’t go well with the summer sun. Though, I have been adding more colors to my wardrobe (part of my invest in yourself movement). 

Each season has something unique to bring to the table. There are certain things I love about each one. But, if I had to choose one season, for forever, it would likely be Fall (winter would be a close second).  

I know in other parts of the world, they are experiencing the opposite weather of what we are here in the U.S.. Funny how that works right? What season are you in right now? Which is your favorite and why?
