February 2023 Recap

“February made me shiver” 🎶

What a month! Here are some things that happened…

February 1st

I was asked to make Bendy Valentines for my nephew. He was very happy with them.

February 2nd

Was woken up at 230 in the morning by my oldest, who was miserable with a fever, sore throat, congestion, and neck pain. Spent the day keeping him well dosed with meds and trying to relax.

February 3rd

Such a busy day! Work, dr appointment, errands, and then having nephew and nieces over for the night. When I’m at a doctor’s appointment with the kids I play the “Am I smiling?” game. They have to guess if I am smiling essentially based on just my eyes. Can you tell if I am smiling or not in this picture? 🤪

February 4th

Busy week and busy day. Hot bath is just what I needed tonight!

February 5th

Spent the afternoon at my in-law’s house.

February 6th

Such a busy day! ENT appointment, homework, and Orthodontist appointment along with all of the typical week day things. ☕️ ☕️ ☕️ I was able to play Number Blocks for a little bit and dance to Beth with my little dude 💚

February 7th

Steak and cauliflower gnocchi in a cream sauce – good stuff!

February 8th

Wylan making dinner 🍽 😋

February 9th

Another day another doctor’s visit

February 10th

They love their lick mats!

February 11th

Valentine’s and Boxes made!

February 12th

February 13th

It was a do homework in the car day.

February 14th

Spent the entire day going from the doctor’s office, to radiology, to the ER at the hospital and having a procedure done. 😵

February 15th – 16th

February 17th

On the road again 🎶

February 18th

Kona wants to lay in the bed. The cats said, “I don’t think so sir”

February 19th

Marinated chicken sandwiches with caramelized onions, yummm

February 20th

I needed a time out today. Started a new crochet project for myself.

February 21st

Just when I thought things were going back to normal…I was sitting at the hospital parking lot waiting for my appointment time before work, when the kid’s school nurse called me and told me Isla threw up. 😵‍💫

February 23

Sometimes you just need to take a break on certain responsibilities like cooking; and order things to go or for delivery instead.

February 24th

Officially started the “airplane bathroom” revamp.

February 25th

Ran errands and worked on house projects.

February 26th

Dyed mine and Isla’s hair. I am now blue as one of my students requested it, ha!Spent the afternoon with the in-laws.

February 27th

Very busy day! Errands, went to breakfast at First Watch [SO GOOD!], visit grandma, errands, type essay, and house projects.

February 28th

The kids had career day at school today!
I couldn’t leave this guy out of the fun!
