We are officially done! I have 2 more items being delivered, but they should be here tomorrow. I have knocked everything off my last to do list! Still wishing for snow though! ❄

I really think Mrs. Claus should be the one that makes the rounds and delivers gifts. Have you seen the meme about how dad’s are just as shocked as the kids on Christmas morning? I think that has been the way for many people for many years. I am genuinely curious to know who in your family is the magic maker! The other day Chris showed me a picture and said, “that’s you!”

I definitely put a lot of energy into the season. From town events, home advent activities, elfontheshelf, planning and shopping for those perfect gifts, wrapping them, and I even have become a soloist the last several years in making sure things make their way under the tree by Christmas morning. All of that for the excitement on the kid’s faces. I cannot explain the amount of joy and love it brings to my soul. It may make the season a bit chaotic at times and more tiring for sure, but I will keep doing it year after year for those precious little humans that we created.
