Happy Valentine’s day to everyone! At one point in time I actually did not like Valentine’s day. It seemed like it was just a hallmark gimmick. However, as you grow your family and seem to have less time for special days/moments just to be together, I have found a little happiness on this day. Though, I am lucky that my husband shows his love with little surprises throughout the year. It still feels good to be shown and to show your love and admiration for those you love.
I did share this questionnaire on my Facebook today, but I thought it would be fun to share here and also post my husband’s responses as well!

How’d you guys meet?
Me: We both worked at Walmart.
Him: at Walmart.
First Date?
Me: Our first actual date, we went to see Avatar in 3D.
Him: the movies.
How long have you been together?
Me: Almost 11 years next month.
Him: forever..
Age difference?
Me: I’m older by 6 months
Him: about 6 months
Who was interested first?
Me: Him
Him: me.
Who is taller?
Me: Him, but only by like 4 inches
Him: me.
Who said I love you first?
Me: Me because he was too nervous to say it after his previous relationship ended badly
Him: you.
Most impatient?
Me: I have hardly any patience at all.
Him: hesitation….you.😅
Most sensitive?
Me: Most definitely me, I literally have only seen him cry twice since we have been together.
Him: probably you, I don’t know, it depends on the situation.
Loudest?
Me: Also me, I don’t have a problem speaking my mind or been rowdy when I want to be.
Him: we are the same.
Most Stubborn?
Me: Also definitely me.
Him: the same.
Falls asleep first?
Me: MOST DEFINITELY HIM! I bet he has the world record for fastest person to fall asleep.
Him: me.

Me: I cook more, not sure I would consider myself “better” at it.

Me: Him, for sure
Him: I’m guessing me.
Better driver?
Me: I would say him, though I am more of a rule follower..
Him: I don’t know…

Me: me!
Him: it depends what it is, about the same

Me: We each have our moments.
Him: mmmm, depends what it is, but probably the same
Where do you eat out most as a couple?
Me: We like to try new things, we don’t really have a go to place. Though, I am always down for Mexican food!
Him: it varies.
Who is more social?
Me: We are pretty equal I think.
Him: ehhh same.
Who is the neat freak?
Me: Both of us tend to hate clutter, but I think about the deeper cleaning more often, so me?
Him: both of us.
Where was your first kiss?
Me: In the basement at my moms house
Him: your mom’s basement
Who initiated your first kiss?
Me: I don’t remember 🤣
Him: I think I did.
Do you get flowers often?
Me: maybe every 2 or 3 months? I did get some pretty roses today!
Him: no 😂
How long did it take to get serious?
Me: uhm, like 2 weeks together and we were stuck like glue
Him: uhm, like within a month I think
Plans date night?
Me: What’s that? Dates, if we have them, tend to be mutual decisions.
Him: we both kind of do, when we do.
Who picks where you go to dinner?
Me: It is usually a consensus, but probably more so me.
Him: usually you.
Who is the first one to admit when they’re wrong?
Me: We both do
Him: we both do.
Who wears the pants in the relationship?
Me: We both have our moments
Him: we both do

Me: Me
Him: is that a thing? You do.

Me: We are tied, we both have 2.
Him: I think we have the same don’t we? Two.

Me: 🤔 me.
Him: You do.

Me: Me until racing season, but we both don’t watch a whole lot of t.v. most days.
Him: depends what’s on t.v.

Me: Probably me, but everything is a joint decision.
Him: uh about the same.
Did you go to the same school?
Me: Nope
Him: no.
Where is the furthest you two have traveled together?
Me: Florida, so far.
Him: Florida
Who drives when you are together?
Me: He does.
