Crafts, crafts, crafts!
Our advent activities usually contain plenty of projects. Today we had a 2 for 1 special because the kids were at their grandparent’s house all weekend. We had to make up for yesterday’s and then do today’s activity.
Our first activity was gingerbread houses. I have learned from previous years that it is much less stressful if everyone has their own house (less fighting). We wound up getting our kits from Five Below. You cannot beat a $5 price tag on a gingerbread house kit!
After we were done cleaning up the mess from the houses, we moved on to making Christmas cards. We used paint, stamps, stickers, and glitter glue.
I have to let them dry overnight and then we will fill them out tomorrow. I am going to order some Christmas stamps, too.
