It is GIVING TUESDAY!
Giving Tuesday is a day to pay it forward! This year we are participating in an event my brother and sister in law started for one of our local community’s homeless shelter: The MICAH House.
The MICAH House houses families that are going through a hardship. They have 23 families there currently with children ranging from 3 weeks old to 17 years old. In the spirit of giving we are trying to raise money to be able to give these kids a magical Christmas! There is a GoFundMe page set up for monetary donations. There also is an Amazon list where you can purchase a specific item the kids have requested and it will be sent directly to the MICAH house. Some items are even as simple as underwear and gift cards for a hair cut!
Here are the links to those, no amount is too small and all shares are appreciated! We only have 9 days to reach our goal to get everything in time. I am not one to beg, but these kids deserve as good of Christmas as anyone else!

Yes! It makes me sad that they have to ask for simple items as a gift, like underwear!
