The Fall season brings on some hearty foods; soups, stew, squashes, and so on. I have learned that I am not the biggest fan of hot liquids. So for me, I really have to be in the mood for soup in order to eat it. However, my husband is a huge fan of Chili. For that, I have learned to enjoy various chili recipes.
My sister in law has also brought us a new tradition for Halloween/Fall last year. We have a family get together where we eat chili and cinnamon rolls. Usually there is also a craft of some kind for the kids. This year she made 2 different ones; a beanless keto chili and a white chicken chili (recipe for white chicken chili below). Both were delicious! I am glad that I get to share the cooking responsibilities with someone. As for the craft, this year we did caramel apples. We did the easy microwave version and then the kids decorated them with sprinkles.
I love family get togethers and traditions! Do you have fall traditions?
