Hurray it is October! That means, it is time for Halloween decorations to be taking over! This year I thought it would be fun to do like an “advent” countdown to Halloween day. Each day will be something different that I will share.
For day #1, though it has been up for a couple of days is…..
Our little Halloween decorated tree! I am a sucker for twinkly lights and thought the kids would enjoy looking at it, too. I used a 4 foot white tree, 2 dollar tree bat garlands, 1 strand of 100 count purple lights, 1 spider, 1 witch hat, and some perler ornaments I made. I did make some other ones, but they weighed the branches down too much. So, I am going to make some more smaller ones.

Normally I do the same thing, but since having Bug I am starting to slow down a bit. Do you do a theme? I am doing a witchy theme.

Nah, I just put out whatever’s in my bin. This year I’d like to make a bunch of bats and tape them all over, so maybe a bat theme?
