Hurray it is Friday!
I am even more excited because with the holiday last week, my husband’s weekend was cut short to make up for it. If you don’t know already, he is a trash man (major holidays off, but works the following Saturday). It tends to throw me off kilter. We make it through nonetheless and now here we are!
[I’m feeling particularly chatty today, so if this post is all over the place that is why 😂.]
Today, though it is Friday the 13th, has been quite ordinary. I don’t believe in superstitions, but I do believe in the Full Moon chaos. Even nurses will attest that full moons bring in more patients (I learned all about that during my month long stay in the maternity ward). So, we will see what tonight brings.
Nothing real exciting going on tonight, but that seems to be my favorite kind of night lately. We have been doing a lot of running around and we won’t really be slowing down any time soon. But, that is okay because my health is important, so, that is what I am working on!
I just finished listening to the book Girl, Wash Your Face (by Rachel Hollis) on Audible. If you haven’t already, you should probably give it a listen! It is seriously motivational. I finished it in two days (something to listen to while cleaning the house).
Along with taking care of myself physically, I have been trying to do more things that light my fire. I especially have been into thrift shopping, trying new things, and trying to establish a more simplistic life style.
If you saw on one of my other posts, I have been doing this Fall Movie Marathon that I found on pinterest. I have been trying to find the ones I haven’t seen first, but they aren’t all available for streaming currently. Here is where I am at as of now. I am 50/50 on new vs already seen.
I am trying to get through the list by Thanksgiving. We will see! I think tonight I am going to watch Dead Poets Society (though I have seen it many times). If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it! You can never go wrong with Robin Williams!
As for this weekend, we don’t have many plans. The only real plan we have is for tomorrow night. Chris’ parents are coming over to watch the Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals live streamed on the Lucas Oil app. Maybe we will go check out some more Halloween/Fall stuff, who knows. Maybe I will do a weekend wrap up post Sunday, hmm.
What are your plans this weekend? If you are feeling chatty too, leave me a comment!
