Mental Wellness Challenge: Day Fourteen

Day Fourteen.

Create a sacred place for yourself. Seek comfort.

In general I would say my sacred place is my home. More specifically I would say either my bed or the bathtub would be my ideal locations for seeking comfort.

I definitely missed taking baths when I was in the hospital and during the 6 week post partum period where the doctors tell you to refrain from submerging in the tub. I have been making up for lost times though. I either read a book, play a game, listen to music, or just sit in the silence.

It is my go to place when I just can’t relax. When everyone else is asleep it is a place of tranquility.
