Blogmas Day 20

Every year during the Christmas season, we watch a lot of Christmas movies and read a lot of Christmas books. Last year I did a Christmas movie post, which you can read here 2017 favorite Christmas movies. I figured it would be fun to share the Christmas books that we read. Every year we get a new book, this year we got a musical one.

Pickle’s teacher also got him a Corduroy book this year. I remember reading Corduroy a lot as a kid.

This year one of our advents was The Grinch day. Originally when I wrote this on our advent I was going to make a fun day of Grinch activities and then end it by seeing the new movie in the theatre. We wound up seeing the movie earlier with my family. I wound up doing a Grinch day with the kids one of the nights my nephew was here. We played Grinch bingo, colored Grinch pictures, and I made Grinch cupcakes. I wound up leaving the 2 books that we bought for the advent, for a couple weeks later.
