Blogmas Day 18

Well, here I am, still sick with this nasty cold virus. Having low energy makes it hard to want to do anything “fun”. However, I was determined to make the coffee cake that I talked about yesterday in my blogmas day 17 post.

I won’t post the recipe because it wasn’t my own, but here is the link for it if you’re interested Cinnamon Coffee Cake With Streusel Crumb Topping. It turned out pretty good, even Pickle said it was one of the best cakes I have made. While I don’t know about best persay, it was still sufficient.

Beings that the kids and I are all sick with this virus (Pickle was the first to get it so he is not as bad as Poppy and I anymore), we are sort of laying low. Tonight we ate dinner and some of the coffee cake and now the kids and I are laying in bed with popcorn watching I Want A Dog For Christmas, Charlie Brown. Right now I couldn’t ask for much more than this (being able to breathe would be nice though).
