Colored Pants

Sunday Funday!

Today was a busy day for us, though I did sleep in until 11am. We wound up going to the mall. I only go to the mall when I know exactly where I am going and what I am going to buy. Otherwise, the mall is a dreaded place for me.

Today, I had my sights set on some earrings and a sweater (or two). I always go to my favorite store in the mall; Torrid. Torrid is like a sister store to the Hot Topic store, but it is an all women’s clothing store (and carries plus sizes). I wound up trying on several different things (it was buy one get one half off on everything in the store). I wound up getting 2 pairs of jeans, 2 tops, socks, and earrings. Though, I didn’t find a sweater.

We wound up going to Maurices after Torrid. I had seen a sweater online that I wanted to try on. Before finding the sweater, I found their colored skinny jeans. I don’t know about anyone else, but I am obsessed with colored pants. I wound up getting mustard colored ones and dark teal ones. My husband pointed out a maroon colored one saying “here get these ones” as a joke because I already have 3 or 4 maroon colored pants at home. For the longest time, maroon was the only color I could find that wasn’t tights. I did not wind up liking the sweater, but found a different one.

When we got home, I washed all the new clothes and started putting them away. I then realized how my colored pant obsession has grown.

Of course I also have regular denim jeans. The other two pants I bought today are gray and lightwashed blue.

Now that I am able to actually find clothes in my size, that I like, it makes shopping much easier and my closet much happier.
