Day 23: What does your support system look like? How can you make it stronger?
I would like to think my support system is adequate. I find though, a lot of people don’t know how to deal with emotional conversations. It is actually a lot of the reason for harboring mine. I know that people care about me, but sometimes when things are too heavy they don’t know how to react; and I get it.
I do my best to vocalize my struggles because I know what happens to me if I don’t. Sometimes I think I am my biggest support system. I find different outlets, such as this here blog, to get my feelings out of me.
I do have my husband, my mom, and my best friend to talk to. I really don’t know what I would do without them in my life.
As for how to make it stronger…I really cannot answer that at this moment in time.

Yes I do. my parents. my friends. therapist and psychiatrist. and my OT. and of course, my wonderful fur ball of a labrador! all of them support me in my recovery!
