Wrinkle

What is a wrinkle?

Is it a sign of aging? Or is a sign of experiences you have taken in life?

I have heard many people tell me they didn’t get wrinkles until they had kids, making it seem like wrinkles are stress related. The same has been said for grey hairs.

I personally have not noticed any wrinkles on my face. Though, with my weight loss program, I have heard it’s common to get them as you lose more weight.

I don’t know how I will react when I do notice a wrinkle. I would like to think I would embrace it as just another piece of me, another extra part of me to love. I can’t say that I would be an avid wrinkle cream user. Skin changes as the body ages. I think it’s a beautiful, but also a bitter sweet sort of thing. Not everyone is lucky enough to live long enough to see a wrinkle. I hope I am one of those lucky people.

Embrace your wrinkles. Love the body you’re in, every minute you’re in it.
