Had Enough

I know this title comes off as a negative one. I’m not going to lie, I have had a lot of negative emotions the last couple of days. I promise though, if you reach the end of this post it will get better.

For those of you who have been following me lately, you have heard a lot about our bad luck with buying a new house. Well, I’m here to report, that yet again, we have had to say goodbye to another house. Yes we are frustrated. We are burnt out. Even our realtor told us this never happens.

We decided to take a break.

We will be downsizing a great deal, temporarily, into an apartment. With only 21 days left til our house is officially sold, we just didn’t want to risk the uncertainties (especially with children). Thankfully though the apartment is about a 5 minute drive from where we are and Pickle won’t have to stop going to his school.

We figure this will give us a peace of mind, knowing we at least have somewhere stable to live while we keep looking for our forever home. We may even wind up building a house, who knows.

We are exhausted from this housing market, but ultimately this move is going to give us more room for financial freedom. More room for us to experience life than spending most of our earnings on housing. We will have the least amount of debt that we ever have, which is a pretty amazing thing! Plus, I may actually get to go to Disneyland later on this year, woohoo!

If you don’t hear from me in the next couple of weeks it’s because we are packing and moving. Please bear with me!

    1. It was until the appraisal came back 8000 lower than what they had it listed for. Didn’t seem like they wanted to come down much and we weren’t going to over pay. Definitely frustrating!

    1. I reached a point, well we both did, where we just didn’t care anymore. It was just too much up and down going on. I’m definitely in need of the breathing room!
