If I had a dollar for everytime someone told a story leaving out the details of their behavior so that they don’t make themselves look bad..
I would be rich.
I’m not perfect. I don’t claim to be anything even remotely close to being perfect. I know my flaws and I know my mistakes. I am not afraid of telling a story that involves myself being portrayed as such. I am human, it comes with the territory.
What bothers the ever living shit out of me are the people who refuse to ruin their reputation by stating not only the behavior of someone, but leaving out their own reaction to it (their behavior).
For instance, Bob and Rick got in a fight and verbal words were exchanged. Bob goes to his friend Nelson and starts talking about all the things Rick said, but fails to mention that he was just as guilty.
Does anyone else get bothered by that?

“There’s three sides to any story….his/hers/theirs and the truth”. I always listen to someone’s story with that in mind.

Some people cannot handle being vulnerable or admit to their own behaviors. look up Brene Brown vulnerability Ted talk for more information.
