Fall Apple Picking

Every year we make a trip to the orchard nearby to pick apples. It has become a Fall tradition ever since Pickle was a year old. It also always winds up on my Fall Bucket List.

Today I felt like baking an apple pie. I decided that even though we had store bought apples in the house, it would be more fun to go and pick some so that Pickle can see the whole process. It was very spur of the moment, but we went.

Here is our little adventure in pictures. Yes, I realize I am not in them. I am usually the one who takes pictures. What also is not pictured is the amount of lady bugs that were infesting a lot of the apples. Just when you think you see a perfect one, turn it around, you find there are 10 of them living inside it.

We did make an apple pie together, but I did not take pictures as I was enjoying the time with Pickle (and my hands were messy 😉).

Without further delay…

Pickle said I needed a picture of these stairs
